Traditional Teacher Maureen Morven on the Old Days
Apr 08, 2025I long for the days when people were just kind to each other, when people didn’t wait to be asked, or to be told, they just helped. If it was observed a child, a teen, an adult or an elder was hungry they were fed.
If they needed unconditional love that’s what they were fed, if they needed compassion that’s what they were fed, if they needed anything that’s what they were fed.
I long for the days when balance & equality & the solution were the first thoughts when a person was in need, when people in need were looked in the eye & told “we see you, help is on the way”
I miss those days. I miss the days when family dinners were about learning, sharing, & extending our family to include the person who had none. I really miss the demonstration of meaning of the word family, the root meaning, I miss my grandparents today.
I am tired of people doing without, I am tired of people judging & not understanding why, I am tired of trying to explain it to people just so committed to not understanding. I miss my teachers who are in the spirit world today.
Please Creator wake everyone up & show them what you have been showing me.
Most of all I am tired of remembering why people self medicate, why there is need, what it is that wrecked the demonstration of the meaning of family & I am soooo tired of our four legged brothers & sisters, winged ones & standing people being casualties of our human errors both intentional & unintentional & today my heart needs a rest..
